BTCCSquare news:

Meta has finalized its acquisition of Moltbook, a platform previously dismissed by CTO Andrew Bosworth as "not particularly interesting." The deal integrates Moltbook's co-founders into Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), led by ex-Scale AI CEO Alexander Wang. Internal documents reveal the move targets Moltbook's agent-identity verification infrastructure rather than its social features.

Bosworth's February remarks on AI agents mimicking human conversation now contrast sharply with Meta's tactical pivot. The company appears to be prioritizing back-end capabilities for its AI commerce ambitions as the agentic AI sector gains momentum.
